Q Who are Adams Executive?
A We are a family run business based in Wakefield 5 minutes from the M1 and M62 motorways. We specialise in transporting passengers to and from the airport to their destination or local and long distance journeys.


Q What area do you cover?
A Any journey to or from Wakefield Leeds Bradford or Yorkshire to or from any UK airport or Seaport as long as the journey starts or ends in Yorkshire.


Q What type of service do you provide?
A We provide a friendly, personal service. We'll be there, with a sign, on time to welcome you. We'll help you with your luggage. We'll whisk you door to door in comfort. We'll provide you with local information to make your trip a success.


Q How easy is it to book a car with you?
A Very! All you do is:
1. Complete the online enquiry form or phone +44 (0)1924 255551 or 07860 107643
2. We will confirm the price, availability and answer any questions.
3. You give us the go ahead and we confirm.


Q What information do I need when making a car booking?
A You will be asked to supply the following:

  • Name
  • Date and Time of pick-up (using 24 hour clock)
  • Pick-up address, including postcode
  • Destination, including postcode
  • Flight number, if applicable
  • Contact telephone number(s)
  • Any special requirements
  • Email Address
  • Payment Method

Q How can I pay for this service?
A You can pay in advance or at the end of your journey. We prefer payment in cash (Sterling, US dollars or Euros. Exchange is at the tourist rate of the day) but accept all major credit cards.


Q How much notice should I give for an email booking?

A It is preferable to give at least 24 hours notice, however during office hours an attempt is made to reply within 2 hours. Passengers in doubt as to whether their e-mail has been received and acted upon should call the office to check that the booking is in place.


Q If my flight is delayed will I be charged extra?
A We monitors all flight arrivals before any drivers are dispatched, and you will not be charged any extra for flight delays.


Q Where do I meet my driver when I land at the airport?
A Unless an alternative arrangement has been made, drivers normally enter the terminal approximately 15 minutes before a flight has landed, they will hold a greeting board with your name on it and will be located by the airport information desk at whichever airport or terminal.


Q What type of vehicles do you have?
A We have access to a range of 4, 6 and 8 passenger vehicles from saloons, estates, and minibuses to coaches. Our drivers and vehicles are all licensed and checked by the Local authorities every six months.


Q What if I cannot locate my driver?
A This is very unlikely but you will be supplied with the mobile phone number of your driver. Please call him directly.


Q What if I need to cancel?
A There is no charge for a cancellation up to 48 hours before your arrival time. After this time a payment of 50% of the original fare is required and 100% if cancelled 24 hours or less.


Q What if I don't show up and I haven't told Adams Executive about the change in plans?
A Please check that all the details are correct at the time of your confirmation since it is company policy to invoice in full for any error on your part that leads to a driver arriving to meet you at the wrong place, date or time, or if you increase the number of passengers
